We’re getting down to the wire. One week until Christmas. If you’re still looking for some gift ideas for the little – and big – girls in your life, check out these suggestions…
1. Skinnygirl Margarita. This is a great gift to bring to the hostess of a holiday party, or your sister, mom, or girlfriend. Just maybe not your wife. You wouldn’t want to imply anything.
Skinnygirl is an all-natural cocktail made from premium Blue Agave clear tequila, a hint of agave nectar, fresh lime juice and a tiny splash of Triple Sec. It weighs in at just 100 calories per serving, which is equivalent to a glass of wine and way less than other bottled or mix-in-a-bucket margaritas. The bottle comes pre-mixed, ready to serve over ice.
I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I like those sickly-sweet margarita mixes, so when I first tasted Skinnygirl it was definitely an adjustment. But after a few glasses (over the course of a few nights!) I loved the light, smooth taste of this drink. Now I’m hooked.
2. Project of the Month Club. This on-line gift service delivers arts & crafts, woodworking, and science projects right to your doorstep. Targeted to ages 4 to 11, they offer several different membership and project options. The projects are educational, convenient, and creative.
While it’s too late to get a project delivered for Christmas, you could order, then create a cool little coupon to wrap and put under the tree. In a couple weeks, your child will receive their project and it’ll be like Christmas all over again. Check out the Project of the Month Club.
3. Harumika™ Style Sets. My 5 year old daughter had a great time with this “create your own fashion” dress-form doll. Here’s how it works… choose a swatch of fabric (sets come with 3 swatches), style it by wrapping the fabric around the dress form, then secure it using the stylus design tool with the patent-pending Style Lock System on the back of the dress form. You can then add accessories and stickers to complete your look.
And because all toys must have an online element these days, Harumika’s web site provides girls the opportunity to upload photos of their creations and share them with others through virtual fashion boutiques, look books, and runway challenges. The Harumika Runway Showstopper Set is even sold with a USB camera and tripod stand, so photos can immediately be uploaded.
I’ve got some Harumika Sets to give away: A Harumika Style Starter Set (includes dress form, stylus tool, fabric swatches, fashion accessories, and fashion stickers) and a Style Accents Set (includes three fabric swatches and a charm bracelet). Leave a comment here to enter and re-tweet (using the re-tweet button at the top of this post) for an extra entry. This will be a quick one — I’ll pick a winner on Monday, 12/21 at 8 am, and provided I get your postal address quickly enough, I’ll get it to you by Christmas! (US Citizens only, must 18 yrs or older.)
Disclosure: I received complimentary review and giveaway products from Harumika. I received complimentary sample product from Skinny Girl. No payment was received for this blog post.
